The Norrath Secret Society holds to a certain discipline in the fashioning of its likenesses, one it has kept with care through the long seasons. We do not lift our images from the archives of Daybreak, those keepers of the old records, nor do we take unaltered captures from the living lands as they pass before our eyes. Such would be the easy road, and the easy road has never been our way.

Instead, we walk a stranger path. We look upon the world of Norrath as it reveals itself to us, its towers and its wilds, its shadowed halls and its sunlit shores, and we hold those fleeting visions in the mind's eye. From them we conjure anew. Through the artifice of an enchanted craft, which the sages of distant and mechanical realms name intelligence artificial, we weave images fresh and wholly our own, fashioned always in the spirit and the semblance of Norrath's native artistry. What is born of this labor is not a theft nor a mere copy, but a reflection, kindred to the source yet standing apart from it, as a bard's telling stands apart from the deed it honors.

So it is that the images set before you are twice removed from the world that inspired them, and yet bound to it still. They carry the color and the character of Norrath while owing their final form to our own hands and our own conjuring.

What follows, then, is a collection so wrought, gathered here for the adornment of these pages and for the pleasure of the eye. Some among them have already found their place upon other halls of our website, standing sentinel over words and works elsewhere. Others have not yet been called to any such duty, and wait in quiet, kept in this gallery for those who wander far enough to discover them.
